Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters, is looking for a Senior Capture Manager to join our Strategy & Growth team.

In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our efforts in pursuit of government contract opportunities. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional information technology (IT) professional services, specializing in providing secure communications and networking primarily for U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard customers. At Atlas Tech, we provide cybersecurity, cloud, engineering, IT modernization, systems integration, program management, and lifecycle support for Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients. As the Senior Capture Manager, you will take the lead in pursuing multiple opportunities across these customer groups. Leveraging our established reputation and robust portfolio of contract vehicles, your role will be instrumental in expanding our capabilities to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional value.

Pay Scale: $140,237 to $212,765; Plus Commission

You Will:

  • Spearhead the Capture leadership for designated opportunities, aligning with the Atlas growth strategy.
  • Manage and execute the entire Business Development (BD) life-cycle process across multiple, simultaneous pursuits.
  • Cultivate and nurture customer relationships, evaluating competitor capabilities across a diverse business portfolio.
  • Acquire market intelligence and competitive data related to potential targeted pursuits, strategically developing marketing approaches that maximize the value of gathered insights.
  • Lead planning sessions with core teams and coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to gain market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy/timing, contract vehicle targets, and additional information to help inform bid/no bid decisions.
  • Plan and participate in gate reviews, overseeing competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win (PTW) initiatives.
  • Provide essential support in crafting RFI/Market Survey responses and other proposal artifacts as needed
  • Ensure the corporate CRM system is maintained for assigned opportunities
  • Deliver capture status briefings to senior leadership at specified milestones or as needed based on changes in the pursuit.
  • Facilitate comprehensive after-action reviews (White Hats) involving all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned while identifying recommended adjustments to capture approach, strategy, and execution.
  • Mentor and guide other portfolio managers and rotational staff in the capture management process.
  • Support other business development activities as assigned.

You Have:

  • U.S Citizenship is a requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business/marketing, engineering, or computer science, coupled with completed professional training in Government Contracting Business Development Management, would be advantageous
  • A track record in excess of 10 years of demonstrated success in executing significant business development activities, including building industry teams, customer call plans to shape acquisitions and pipeline management to win business with new and existing customers
  • Secret Security clearance is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing a CRM platform to monitor and maintain business development opportunities
  • Proficiency using online collaborative and production platforms/products such as Microsoft Office/Office 365 products (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Exemplary attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Proven capability to cultivate and qualify an opportunity pipeline of pursuits that support future growth
  • Exceptional proficiency in actively listening, comprehending, and quantifying the specific requirements of Department of Defense (DoD) customer requirements
  • Outstanding communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation platforms
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the APMP and/or Shipley capture and proposal management methodologies
  • Familiarity with federal government and IT terminology
