How can I apply for a job with Atlas Technologies?

What is the hiring process like?

Apply – Review your work experience, skills and achievements highlighted on your resume to make sure it aligns with this position you are applying for.

Review – Applications are reviewed by our team of recruiters and hiring managers.  If your resume is a match, a recruiter will contact you for a phone screen.

Interview – If you enjoyed the discussion with our recruiter and your skills align with the needs of our team, an interview with our hiring team will be scheduled.  Interview steps may vary by team and position, but it will typically include a competition of technical screens, video interviews, and individual or panel interviews.

Selection – The interview with our hiring manager is an assessment of your skills and experience, as well as your cultural fit with Atlas.  If it’s a match, your recruiter will be in touch to verbally share an offer proposal.

Offer - The offer will be initiated by your recruiter and sent via email. You will be asked to complete a background check that covers your employment history, references, educational qualifications, etc.  All offers of employment are contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the background check.   Your recruiter will be available to answer any questions during the process.

Accept – Once you’ve signed your formal offer, your recruiter will be in touch to give you an overview of forms and actions that needed to be completed, including verification of qualifications and clearance paperwork, prior to your state date.

Onboarding – Your career with Atlas begins with Orientation with our Human Resources and IT departments.  You’ll learn about our core values, culture, and mission of Atlas.  You will be equipped with resources including an Ambassador to ensure a successful career with us.

You should hear from one of our recruiters within two weeks of your initial application.

What is a security clearance?

A security clearance is a determination by the U.S. Government that a person or company is eligible for access to classified information.  There are three security clearance levels: Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret.

Do all the career opportunities at Atlas Tech require a security clearance?

No. Security Clearance requirements are identified in each job description.  If a clearance is associated with the job, the job description will state whether applicants must currently hold or be able to attain a specific type of clearance.

Can I obtain a security clearance on my own?

No. You must be sponsored by a cleared contractor, such as Atlas Tech, or a Government agency.  In order to be sponsored, you must be employed in a position that requires a clearance.

If I currently don’t have a Security Clearance, should I apply for a job that requires one?

Yes, still apply.  It is possible to get hired without a clearance, provided Atlas is able to sponsor you. Consider gathering the information you’ll need for the security questionnaire to show that you’ve taken initiative on this step.

Can I get a security clearance with a criminal record?

Every application for a Security Clearance is treated individually and will consider how serious the offense was, how long ago the crime was committed, the age of the offender at the time, etc.
